Google Alerts
Google alerts is a free service that has been available for some time now and can be used by anyone.Getting started is easy and you can get alerts on key words and phrases relating to any subject.Once you submit the keywords you want to be alerted about Google will send you an Email every day with the best news story’s and Blog posts related to those words and prases.For example if your blog covers ‘Dog Grooming’ you can submit the term ‘Dog Grooming’ and you will get an Email every day with the latest story’s and posts that include that term.
At the moment i have subscribed to get alerts every day on the best news and posts with the keywords ‘Blogger Tips’ and ‘Blogger Tricks’.This has proved very helpful as there are some great tips posted on blogs that i would otherwise never see.Of course you cant copy their content but it will give you ideas.
